They were out of every thing. What we had was good and our waitress was very sweet. She a great job and was very pleasant but there is not excuse for being out of fried pies all they had was peach and apple no cherry or chocolate or pecan. And no chicken it was sad we settled for French fries the cook made gravy special for my husband and my cheese fries were better then most.

I 'very been riding by The Haystack for years so today I decided to stop in. The folks there were down home friendly and so were the other customers that were eating there. The place that you're going to get a better breakfast is to make it yourself!!! Hands down vest in town. The Haystack just gained a new customer!!! Recommended highly and without reservation.

Clean rustic atmosphere. Good selection of draft and bottled beers at reasonable prices. I had the all you can eat fried catfish. Good balance between crisp breading and flakey meaty fillets. Spouse had the bacon Swiss mushroom burger basket. Had to be close to half a pound, nicely seasoned, tender, perfectly cooked to order. Good food, good service, good value. 🤗

Food was delicious. Problem was the staff charged me for 4 drinks I did not have. She stated she was use to ringing up Bud Lights. Bill was corrected. Watch your bill. 4 overcharges I don't consider a mistake.
